Description:

New from Assemble "Wish You Well": A cathartic blend of raw and infectious melody, fueling your punk spirit.

'If you're a devotee of the raw energy and unrelenting passion that defined late 80's and early 90's melodic punk, the new record 'Wish You Well' by Philadelphia's Assemble is a must-add to your collection. This album is a masterclass in punk craftsmanship, blending the raucous spirit of the genre with intricate musicianship and strong vocal harmonies. Right from the opening track, 'Poison the Well,' Assemble grabs you by the collar and doesn't let go. The song is an electrifying rush of high-octane guitar riffs and pounding drums, delivering a visceral punch that fans of bands like Bad Religion and NOFX will find exhilarating. Yet, it's not just the aggression that stands out; it's the sophistication behind the chaos. Assemble's technical prowess continues on tracks like 'Destroy Everything' or 'Falling Far Behind.' Here, the music showcases precision and creativity, elevating the track beyond your standard punk fare. The rhythm section's ability to seamlessly shift gears between breakneck speeds and more controlled, deliberate beats is a testament to their exceptional talent and tight-knit synergy. 'Wish You Well' is an album that stays true to its melodic punk roots while pushing the boundaries of the genre. It's a record filled with infectious energy and thoughtful compositions, resonating with nostalgia and a forward-thinking spirit. For fans of melodic punk, this album is not just a nod to the past but a bold statement of the present and future of the genre. In a time when punk music can often feel diluted, Assemble stands out with its commitment to both the raw and the refined. 'Wish You Well' is a testament to their ability to marry technical skill with the unbridled spirit of punk, making it an essential listen for anyone who appreciates the genre's rich history and vibrant future.
