This Canadian A&M pressing of Joe Jackson's breakthrough debut captures the raw energy that made "Look Sharp!" one of the defining albums of the new wave explosion. Released in early 1979, this record introduced the world to Jackson's razor-sharp songwriting and his band's incredibly tight rhythm section, featuring the powerhouse duo of Graham Maby on bass and Dave Houghton on drums. The album spawned the iconic "Is She Really Going Out with Him?" - a track that didn't chart initially but became a massive hit when re-released later that year, helping establish Jackson as a major force alongside contemporaries like Elvis Costello and Nick Lowe.
