Description:

Named in Pitchforks 200 Most Important Artists of the Last 25 Years," the San Franciscan songwriting duo Girls imparted a massive sonic shift on their last 2010 EP Broken Dreams Club, before breaking up in 2012. The band emerged with a more massive, lusher sound with horns, pedal steel, and psychedelic effects throughout. Upon its release, Christopher Owens described the exuberant six songs as a letter of intent, snapshot of the horizon, and step up from its stunning predecessor Album.
