Condition

Here's a fascinating piece of Canadian pressing history that showcases Doris Day during her transitional period in the late '60s. This 1968 Harmony release captures Day at a crossroads, moving away from her pure jazz and big band roots toward the softer, more contemplative vocal style that would define her later career. The album centers around her iconic Oscar-winning performance of "Que Sera, Sera," originally recorded for Hitchcock's "The Man Who Knew Too Much" in 1956, but this collection presents it alongside material that reflects the changing musical landscape of the late sixties.
