Condition

Here's a piece of Kanye's most introspective and polarizing work from his prolific 2018 output. "Ye" stands as West's shortest studio album at just 23 minutes, recorded in a whirlwind session at a Wyoming ranch with Kid Cudi, making it both intimate and unfiltered. The album arrived during one of Kanye's most turbulent periods, addressing his bipolar diagnosis head-on while wrestling with public controversies and personal demons. Musically, it strips away much of the maximalist production that defined his earlier work, favoring stark, emotionally raw compositions that feel almost like voice memos from his psyche.
